Here's a short clip of Patrick Wolf covering Rihanna's "Umbrella."

Also, I'm a little surprised The Teenagers would remix this song, but they just posted a bulletin that they've remixed Shiny Toy Guns.

It's not that great.

I'm not crazy about Calvin Harris' voice, but most of his beats are pretty rad.
I've had Mr Oizo's remix of "Merrymaking At My Place" up on my MySpace for a little and haven't gotten completely sick of it, yet.

This one is pretty good, too.

Since I'm on the topic of Calvin Harris, Dragonette did their own little version of "The Girls."

Ummmm what else, what else.

I want this.

It's called the Phonofone II and you can plug your iPod into it. Completely unnecessary, especially for $875

By the way, here's a reminder of why Agyness Deyn is so hot

" " Wednesday

Harry Potter midnight showings are quite delightful. I enjoyed it. You should enjoy it. The rather obese man who sat next to me certainly enjoyed it. I was worried that it was going to be uncomfortable sitting next to him after he told me before the movie started that he "once snuck a meatball sandwich into the movies." Oh, Gainesville.

Anyways, I have a couple of goodies today that are on the easy-listening side. Sorry, if you're looking for something to dance to right about now, move along.

Besides Fievel or Tanya Mousekewitz, I honestly have never been sick of Zach Condon's voice. I just got ahold of three lovely tracks from an older demo titled "Small Time American Bats." Here's one of my favorite from it.

Also, for you Antony and the Johnsons lovers, here is Antony covering Beyonce.

Oh, and even though this is from 2004, the only Animal Collective featuring Vashti Bunyan I had ever heard before was "It's You," so here is something even better I came across.

Not much for this post, but I'm sure I'll come across some good stuff in a few days.

Oh, and you can download New Young Pony Club's new album today on iTunes. You can't buy the CD until August 28th, but if you heard the two supposedly leaked songs I posted awhile back from it, I won't be rushing to find a leak.
