I can't find the original article on this so I'm not sure how recent it is but The Music Slut had this to report...
NME reports: Devendra Banhart has made Lindsay Lohan a mix CD to help her in her recovery. The actress is being treated for substance abuse as an outpatient after attending rehab in Utah. Banhart explained: "I made two mix CDs for her. I put Nico, Vashti Bunyan, Captain Beefheart, Caetano Velso and Joanna Newsom on there. She totally dug them. We ended up talking about Fleetwood Mac who we're both obsessed with." Of her recovery, he told WENN: "I haven't talked to her recently. She's taking care of herself. I'm trying to give her some space, because I think now is a tough time for her." The pair first met while doing a feature for Interview magazine last year.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this Tegan and Sara remix I got off MissingToof.
Tegan and Sara - Back In Your Head (Tyler Fedchuk’s 1/2ALIVE Disco remix)

There are some other good remixes on Tyler Fedchuk's MySpace for free download!
Here's one I'm kind of digging
Justin Timberlake VS Metronomy - SexAttack(Tyler Fedchuk Indie Edit)
The 1/2ALIVE MySpace also has some good stuff for listening.

Here is something quite quite good I found today on Discobelle.
Klaxons - As Above, So Below (Justice Remix)

Just so this post wasn't only one song, here's another.
Klaxons - My Love (Justin Timberlake Cover)

Hmmm...and so it's not just Klaxons, here's a random Chromeo song off their latest album.
Chromeo - Momma's Boy

Now it's time to watch another episode of A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila! hah

Greetings again to all 5 of you actually reading this!

- I heard this today for the first time, I'm not sure how old it is considering the turnover rate these days for remixes is less than a month, but either way, MSTRKRFT has this nice remix of New Young Pony Club's "Get Lucky." Frankly, I'm just glad it's not "Ice Cream."
New Young Pony Club - Get Lucky (MSTRKRFT Remix)

- Band Of Horses new video for "Is There A Ghost," from their album Cease to Begin is available HERE. I know how lazy everyone is, myself included, but it won't let me embed for some reason.

- Not that there aren't enough Spank Rock remixes out there, but Best Fwends put together a new one.
Spank Rock - Bump (Best Fwends Remix)

- I mentioned NEON COYOTE the other day, well today I came across this MSTRKRFT remix they did.
MSTRKRFT - She's Good For Business (NEON COYOTE Remix)

- Robots in Disguise's new single "The Sex Has Made Me Stupid" is out today.

- I'm sure everyone already has The Teenagers' "Homecoming," but today iTunes has it available on the Kitsune label. I wonder what took them so long?

- Something interesting, Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, was named today the most influential person in tech history. More influential than the Nintendo, Ebay, Apple, and Google people. Something tells me the person who came up with this list used to be in Fraternities/Sororities and still like to be tagged.

- Anyone looking to buy a new camera? Well according to the lomography section of The White Stripes' Website, you can purchase two custom cameras: the Jack Holga and the Meg Diana+. Both are $180. Known for their "serendipitous 'imperfections' and cinematic qualities," they were only 3000 of each camera made so purchase one online before all the Hot Topic employees do!

Well, I hope you've enjoyed this very A.D.D. style of writing. It should work well for those of you who have a similarly short attention span.

Where Has The Time Gone!

Alright, I have been slacking hardcore lately so I've gone back and re-edited this post to fill it with everything I can possibly think of to show.

- Brand new Daft Punk mix that they put together for the Louis Vuitton Spring 2008 Ready-to-Wear Paris show. DAFT PUNK-LOUIS VUITTON MIX
Also, here's a little clip from the show. Talk about a lot of clothes.

- I want to mention NEON COYOTE. They've already put out a bunch of incredible remixes, and I expect they'll keep doing just that. So head over to their MySpace and listen/download what they have for free on their page. Listen to "Ghetto Galactic" at the bottom of their player first to get an idea of what they're like.

- So I've just finished listening to The Fiery Furnaces new album "Widow City." What can I say, it's quite fantastic. Exactly what you would want to hear off of anything they worked on.

- This really creeped me out in a way. Justice on Jimmy Kimmel Live a few nights ago.

- Also, as most any of you know, the new Radiohead album "In Rainbows" is out and in full effect. Here's a song I've been enjoying from it.
Radiohead - All I Need

- Although Cut Copy isn't releasing their next album, In Ghost Colours, until early 2008 on Modular, they have released a new song "SO HAUNTED," [Last.fm surprisingly has that for free download so I don't have to go load it myself!] They're going to release the next single, "Lights and Music," later on this year so look out for that.

- I'm sure everyone has seen that Old Navy commercial. You know, the one with that song that is a nice decent slow song but then you realize it's an Old Navy commercial, and you try to not like it. It could be worse. It could be a Sears commercial. Anyways, here's that song.
Ingrid Michaelson - The Way I Am

- What else, what else! This song has been getting a lot of buzz, but it's really not that amazing to be honest.
Jupiter One - Countdown (LA Riots Remix)

This wouldn't be a jam-packed entry if it didn't mention Britney Spears. The Hood Internet put together this decent mash-up between Felix Da Housecat and Britney's "Gimme More"
Britney Spears vs. Felix Da Housecat - "Tweak Me More"

- I don't know why I like this song, maybe I still have hope for another Cassie song like "Me & You" that can be remixed into some more amazingness. In the meantime, here is a new song of her's that I guess I for some very bizarre reason don't hate.
Cassie - Turn the Lights Off

Here's a random rap song that I like right now.
The Pack - Candy

New iPhone commercial. I'm not a huge fan, but it's something else to throw in here.

Oh, I've had a few people ask me so if you saw any music on my Last.fm that you want, leave a comment or message my MySpace, and I'll try to get it to you.

This weekend I have to make a Lexus commercial for one of my advertising classes. Should be exciting! I had to make a preview of what it'll be like. So here's that if you've actually gotten down this far.

[phew] That was a lot. I'll leave whoever actually read that to take it all in.
